Product details
Product description
The N16000 is the next evolutionary stage of the XORAYA N series and now supports a data rate of up to 15 Gbit/s. It serves as a central hub to centrally record all data acquisition devices in the vehicle. The data reaches the data sink via 1 GbE/10 GbE interfaces – e.g. from cascadable data loggers and probes – and is stored on a removable PCIe storage unit (XORAYA RSU) with up to 32 TB. Alternatively, the data can also be transferred directly to an external computer system via Ethernet.

Typical applications in the automotive sector:
- Centralized high-performance data logging (e.g. ADAS, autonomous driving)
- Vehicle development and function validation
- Test drives and vehicle testing
Further areas of application:
- Robotics and autonomous systems
- Mechanical engineering and industrial systems (centralized process data logging)
- Aerospace (distributed data acquisition)
- Research and development (high-channel measurement data acquisition)
Which devices is the N16000 compatible with?
The XORAYA N16000 data sink uses removable memory (XORAYA RSU) for data storage and is designed for use in distributed logger systems. The data sink can be combined with probes and various data loggers and acts as a central instance in the overall system.
What is the difference between an N16000 and the N8000?
The N8000 records data at up to 8 Gbit/s. The N16000 is the next evolutionary stage of the XORAYA N series and now supports a data rate of up to 15 Gbit/s.
What requirements and standards does the device meet?
The XORAYA N16000 data sink was developed for use in automotive test environments and fulfills typical requirements for measurement and data recording systems in vehicle networks. The XORAYA N16000 data sink supports common automotive technologies, diagnostic standards and time synchronization procedures.
