Product description
The XORAYA Datacube-N3 is a readout station for XORAYA RSU removable memories, as used by data loggers of the N series (e.g. N16000) are used. It has three RSU slots and enables data to be transferred to an iWARP-capable server at up to 10 Gbit/s via 10GBASE-T or up to 35 Gbit/s via 40G QSFP+ using the push method. The data transfer is serial, i.e. only one RSU is read out at a time. Control and data transfer are possible on all interfaces (2x 10GBASE-T and 2x 40G QSFP+) – even mixed.
The form factor allows installation in network cabinets that are suitable for accommodating 19″ components in accordance with IEC standard 297 or DIN 41494. Telescopic rails and mounting brackets are optionally available for rack mounting.
Device variants
The accessory device is available in a standardized version – there are no device variants. With the Datacube-N1 however, an alternative device with an identical range of functions and one slot is available.

Project-specific adaptations
All components of the XORAYA ecosystem are designed to work together seamlessly and can be flexibly combined to create individual system solutions. The modular architecture enables targeted expansions without changing the existing system logic – for a consistent and scalable system in terms of data rate, memory, interfaces and performance.
Verification, tests & conformity to standards
All devices undergo comprehensive verification tests, including functional tests, boundary scan tests and system tests as well as EMC tests. In addition, mechanical function and wear tests, vibration tests and temperature and humidity tests are carried out to ensure reliability under real operating conditions.
We also carry out compliance tests for automotive and standard Ethernet interfaces using Teledyne LeCroy measurement systems and QualiPHY software. This produces standard-compliant, reproducible measurement results that enable reliable integration into vehicle networks and development environments.
Our development and business processes meet the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. X2E is also certified according to TISAX® (ENX Association) and meets the information security requirements of the automotive industry. All devices bear the CE mark and comply with the applicable European directives.

What is the difference between a Datacube-N3 and an N1?
The XORAYA Datacube-N3 is designed for higher data readout requirements and differs from the N1 in two respects in particular: Number of slots and data rate.
Datacube-N3:
Supports up to three RSUs simultaneously and achieves data rates of up to 35 Gbit/s via 40G QSFP+. This makes it suitable for fast, parallel readout processes of large data volumes.
Datacube-N1:
Has an RSU slot and offers a data rate of up to 10 Gbit/s, designed for sequential readout of individual storage units.
