Industries & areas of application
Data loggers and accessories for development, testing and validation
Our solutions are primarily used in automotive development, for example in road tests, system tests and the analysis of networked vehicle functions. They are also used in other industries.

Automotive development
Data acquisition and analysis as part of vehicle development
Data loggers from X2E are primarily used in automotive development. They enable the reliable acquisition and analysis of measurement data during road tests, system tests and the validation of modern vehicle functions. Particularly in the development of networked control units, driver assistance systems and complex vehicle networks, they ensure precise data acquisition across a wide range of bus systems and sensors.
Renowned automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide rely on our data loggers. With well over 10,000 devices in the field, we are one of the leading providers in this field.

Aerospace development
Measurement technology for flight testing and system validation
X2E data loggers can also be used in the aerospace industry. They enable the reliable acquisition and analysis of measurement data during ground and flight tests. Aerospace-specific interfaces such as ARINC can be integrated on a project-specific basis and, if required, developed accordingly.
X2E also has its own test aircraft with a measurement technology bay for flight tests. Development and production are carried out in accordance with EN 9100-certified quality standards.
Flight Test and System Validation
Collection and analysis of data during flight tests to validate avionics, navigation, and control systems
Environmental tests and qualification
Tests under extreme conditions such as temperature, vibration or pressure loads as well as qualification tests for components and systems
Avionics and communication systems
Analysis of communication between flight control computers, sensors and subsystems via aviation-specific bus systems
Sensor and navigation systems
Testing and analysis of sensor technology such as IMUs, GNSS, radar or optical sensors for navigation, position determination and situational awareness
Structural and stress tests
Measurement and evaluation of structural loads, vibrations and material stresses during ground and flight tests
Integration of complex system architectures
Investigation of the interaction of different subsystems and validation of data communication and system integration in aircraft, satellites or space systems

Robotics & AI development
Data acquisition for the development and testing of autonomous systems
X2E measurement technology is also used in robotics development to comprehensively analyze complex systems during development, integration and testing. Our data loggers record sensor data, control information and communication signals reliably and synchronously – both in simulations and in real test scenarios. This gives developers a detailed insight into the interaction of sensors, actuators and control systems within modern robotics platforms.
For example, in medical technology, where a customer uses our measurement technology in the development and validation of surgical robots to precisely record and evaluate sensor data during tests.
Sensors and perception systems
Analysis and recording of sensor data from cameras, LiDAR, radar, IMUs or other environmental sensors for the development of robust perception and navigation functions
Motion and control systems
Investigation of motion sequences, control algorithms and actuator controls to optimize the precision, stability and dynamics of robotic systems
Human-robot interaction
Test and analysis of safety functions, interaction mechanisms and collaboration scenarios between humans and robots in industrial or service-oriented applications
System integration and communication
Analysis of data communication between sensors, control computers and subsystems and validation of distributed robotics architectures and networks

Industry & mechanical engineering
Data acquisition for the development, commissioning and operation of complex machines
X2E data loggers can also be used in industrial and mechanical engineering to analyze complex machines and production systems in detail during development, commissioning and operation. They reliably record sensor, control and process data, enabling precise evaluation of processes within industrial systems.
One customer integrates our data loggers directly into a production line in order to record the production process synchronously with machine and sensor data. On this basis, cycle times, process deviations and potential quality problems can be analyzed in detail and optimized in a targeted manner.
Development of construction and agricultural machinery
Acquisition of sensor data from hydraulic systems, drives, control units and environmental sensors to analyze load states, machine behavior and system interactions under real operating conditions
Testing of large special machines
Analysis of communication and signal processing between controllers, sensors and drive systems in complex special machines during development and test phases
