Capacity expansion through new SMT assembly line

X2E Group has significantly increased its manufacturing capacity by acquiring and commissioning a new PCB assembly line. This is the company’s response to growing demand in its core data logger business.

As part of the vertical integration strategy, the aim is to be able to respond even faster and more efficiently to customer needs in the future.

New X2E production center planned

With the previous expansion of mechanical production, the current production areas at the Kandel site are now maxed out. The planned relocation to a new production center, which is already scheduled to begin in August of this year, has already provided relief.

Dr. Karlheinz Weiss, Managing Director of the X2E Group of Companies: “We are pleased to have found a location in Rohrbach that can keep up with the demands of fast-growing technology companies.”

The move to Rohrbach will create new space for a total of 100 high-tech jobs and training positions. For this purpose, the X2E Group is investing another 2 million euros.
