XORAYA AZM15/AZM30 & Developement-Kit
The XORAYA AZM15/AZM30 is a highly integrated SoM based on the Xilinx Zynq®-7000 All Programmable which was designed for use in the automotive industry. A fitting Development-Kit is also available.
Based on the Xilinx Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC, XORAYA AZM15/AZM30 offers a highly integrated and rugged System on Module (SoM) for the automotive industry. There is the option to select the 7015 or the 7030 Zynq SoC, both with speed grade 2.
The just 50 x 70 mm sized SoM includes basic components like SoC, DRAM, flash memory and reference clocks to allow easy integration into other projects.
Four board-to-board connectors provide access to the freely configurable pins of the Zynq SoC which enables a high level of flexibility. 33 multiplexed I/O (MIO) pins of the processing system can be used to implement various interfaces like Ethernet, USB or UART. 150 extended multiplexed I/O (EMIO) pins or up to 72 LVDS pairs are available for the programming logic.
The development kit for the XORAYA AZM15/AZM30 System on Module (SoM) is a ready-to-use platform for hardware and software engineers to evaluate the SoM and develop their own industrial and automotive applications.
The evaluation board powers the XORAYA AZM15/AZM30 and provides connectors to access UART, Gbit Ethernet and various industry standard debug interfaces to test and debug the system. The AZM30 variant adds support for SATA storage devices.
In addition to the hardware, the delivery contents include an FPGA image with interface drivers and a Linux board support package. By providing schematic, layout and the bill of materials, we make the design transparent and easy to adapt to.
Most of the interface cards available for XORAYA data loggers, like CAN, FlexRay and LIN, can optionally be used in the project by being plugged into the module connector that serves as an expansion slot.
